Pioneering project with an emphasis on energy efficiency.

A new urban center is currently being built around Holmen, north of the municipality of Asker, where residents will have shops, services, a bus station, meeting places, recreational facilities and residential buildings. The Holmen indoor swimming pool is part of the FutureBuilt program, a climate-neutral pilot project. The building is a passive facility designed for maximum energy efficiency. It is made of concrete but has a decorative facade made with larch wood slats. The SITECO Floodlight FL 20 with secondary reflector technology was selected for the lighting, which impressed with high lighting efficiency and a slim silhouette.
